1. Our commitment

Every student’s welfare comes first. Most of the people we advise are under eighteen, and our work with them follows UK safeguarding guidance.

2. Checked advisors

Every advisor holds an enhanced DBS check, renewed every three years, and completes safeguarding training before working with students.

3. How sessions run

Sessions take place in our offices, at school, or on video with a parent able to join. Advisors never meet students alone off site.

4. Raising a concern

Any concern about a student’s safety goes to our designated safeguarding lead the same day, and to the right authorities where needed.

5. Contacting the lead

Parents, students and schools can reach our designated safeguarding lead directly at safeguarding@provost.education.

Worried about a student?

Our designated safeguarding lead replies the same working day.
